Six Months Old!

Kelsey was six months old on Monday! Here is a huge smile- she is covered in cereal, but is having fun eating it.

Kelsey cheered for the Hoyas last week, but it didn't seem to help much.

Kelsey and Quinsi bonded a little.
Here we all are on Monday- we went today to get "professional" photos at the mall- Wow! they didn't turn out much better than this.

Here we are in the snow- it was finally warm enough to go outside and enjoy- you can't tell from the background, but we got a fresh 8 inches of snow this week- it's high enough now that when Quinsi goes out it is above his belly. Kelsey sat on the snow for a minute, but wasn't real interested.

It's hard to believe that Kelsey is almost six months old alaredy. Here she is with her first pair of jeans. She sits pretty well now, and is getting really close to crawling. She gets up on all fours and tries to move but falls over still most of the time, though she works her way around the room pretty well. Here is the little ham, making goofy faces at the camera in her shirt that Uncle Sam brought back from Holland.

She looks so big!

Here she is trying carrots. She's not entirely certain whether they are good or not, but she more of these than any other food we have tried so far.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

We apologize for being bad bloggers over the past month. It has been a wild month- we had an ice storm in early December that knocked out the power for a week. This is what our street looked like- and this was several days after the storm.

But the power outage certainly didn't stop Kelsey from celebrating a very exciting first Christmas. Santa delivered these presents at home, and then plenty more at each Grandparents' house, as well as some that were dropped off with various friends and family.

The walker is one of her favorite presents....to eat. She does pretty well in it zipping around the house chasing the dog too. He is learning to get out of the way or get run over.

We also spent lots of time with cousin Gabby and Aunt Kristen & Uncle Alex. As the older, wiser cousin by an entire 10 weeks Kelsey feels like she should whisper secrets to Gabby.

Here are the cousins relaxing, and one of the few pictures we have where they are both looking at the camera and one of them is not cyring. We probably took 50 pictures of them over the last three weeks and in 48 one of the girls is crying or looking away!

The horse explanation for those of you who wondered: we do not own a horse, the horse does not live in our house, we met the horse at a Christmas party- he is one of the Budweiser Clydesdales.
